MI believe responsible growth means protecting what makes Grover Beach special while planning thoughtfully for the future. State housing mandates are a reality, but we still have a responsibility to make sure new development reflects the character, needs, and priorities of our community. I support balanced growth that respects surrounding neighborhoods, protects view corridors, and strengthens opportunities for residents, local businesses, and industry alike. I will work to bring residents directly into the conversation through community workshops and public input so future development reflects a shared vision for Grover Beach, not decisions made without the community’s voice.

Economic Vitality

Supporting local businesses and creating quality jobs that strengthen our economy. We will attract sustainable businesses that align with our community values and provide good wages.

Public Safety

Ensuring our community remains safe through strategic partnerships with law enforcement and proactive crime prevention programs. We will invest in modern equipment and training for our first responders.

Infrastructure

I believe strong infrastructure is essential to protecting the quality of life and long term future of Grover Beach. The city has made important investments in roads, water, and wastewater systems, but more work remains. I support developing clear, responsible plans to complete residential street improvements, secure long term maintenance funding, and keep critical sewer upgrades moving forward. I also believe Grover Beach must maintain reliable and financially stable water systems while planning for future emergencies and supply disruptions. Infrastructure decisions should be transparent, practical, and focused on serving residents and businesses for decades to come.

Government Accountability

I believe government accountability starts with remembering that city staff and elected officials work for the people of Grover Beach. Every decision made by the city should be transparent, clearly explained, and focused on serving residents and local businesses. I will work to provide greater visibility into city budgets through a more detailed line-item approach and openly discuss long-term financial planning before problems become crises. I will also prioritize responsible infrastructure planning, including completing street projects, improving long-term road maintenance funding, and ensuring city facilities are properly maintained with public safety needs at the forefront.
